The Vivants are a string band with drums and accordion hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. The six-piece find their musical faith in 20th century American dance music traditions like country swing, honky tonk and rockabilly. Their sets shimmer with western and old-time dance tunes, Bob Wills and Louis Jordan covers and blazing fiddle and accordion solos. The quartet is known for their soulful 3-part harmonies, retro-sounding originals and classic country repertoire.
